Katrina
Latommia Ivy
The water is so high,
I can’t imagine ever getting by.
All of my things have been swept away,
I can’t believe it only took one day.
As I look out into the water there’s only one thing I can see,
Katrina just couldn’t let us be.
I can’t believe this happened to me,
No one told Katrina that she could be free and try to destroy me.
So many people tried to survive,
They just wanted to be alive.
Katrina came in,
I guess she just had to win.
This is so unfair,
She could have let us be aware.
So now that Katrina is through,
What are my family and I to do?
