Massage Therapy Certification
Curriculum: 660 Hours/10 Month Program
Become a massage therapist in only ten months by completing 660 clock hours of work in our part-time program. Upon completion of the program, you will earn a certificate in Massage Therapy that will enable you to take the National Certification Exam for Therapeutic Massage to become nationally nertified and licensed to practice massage therapy in the state of Illinois.
Therapeutic massage is a holistic approach to healthcare that impacts and rejuvenates mind, body, and spirit. Not only can it promote relaxation, but it can also treat and prevent injury, improve circulation, and reduce stress and tension held in the muscle tissues.
With hands-on instruction and student clinicals, you will have the skills necessary to impact and enhance your clients’ lives. You will receive the necessary training and preparation to become a confident and competent therapist in the massage therapy field.
Because Lincoln College–Normal is a fully accredited baccalaureate degree-granting institution, there are great benefits to attending including the option of living on-campus in apartment suite housing, and the ability to enroll in college level courses in Marketing, Business, and Accounting, or even to pursue an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
