Lincoln College (Lincoln, IL) and Lincoln College-Normal (Normal, IL) are sister campuses of Lincoln College, but each offers unique learning opportunities and experiences:
Located in Normal, IL - Lincoln College-Normal is a small, student-centered four-year institution offering bachelor's and associate's degrees as well as certificate programs, offering small interactive classes, high quality academic programs, and a wonderfully-diverse community. Since many of our students work and raise families, LCN provides both full-time and part-time study options as well as day, evening, hybrid and online classes. In addition, students may be awarded credit for work and life experiences. At LCN, teaching is a top priority. Our small class sizes enhance the learning process and provide personal attention from faculty.

In order to complete the application process, the Office of Admissions requires the following:- A compeleted application
- $25 application fee
- Official high school transcripts
- ACT/SAT score
- Official transcripts from all other college/univeristy attended
- A personal statement, interview and letters of recommendation may be requested
- Campus visit (recommended)

Cost can vary by program. Learn more about financial aid and costs. - Are scholarships available?
Yes. Lincoln College-Normal awards a number of scholarships and grants, based on academic performance. Upon admission, each applicant will be considered for academic scholarships and will be notified of any awards. You may ask your Admissions Counselor for more information. - Are payment plans available?

You will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to begin the financial aid process. sent to LC?
If you were born after 1957, yes you are required to submit your immunization records to Lincoln College-Normal. Degree-seeking students are required to have immunization records on file. Immunization records may be acquired from your high school or other bachelor’s degree-granting institutions you have attended. You may also download an Immunization Request form to assist you with obtaining your immunization records. Lincoln College-Normal does not have on campus health services, BUT we do have access to services available through Illinois State University and there are several walk-in clinics and two hospitals in Bloomington Normal. Open houses are specific days when prospective students and families can e visit Lincoln College-Normal campus and learn more about our academic programs, meet our staff as well as receive a campus tour. Open house dates will be posted on the Lincoln College-Normal website, or you may contact your Admissions Counselor for more information. - I'm taking courses at my local community
college, will they transfer?
Lincoln College-Normal maintains articulation agreements with most colleges in the State of Illinois under the Illinois Articulation Initiative. All requirements can be found on the I-transfer website. Courses from accredited schools outside of the State of Illinois are likely to transfer, but you will want to check with you school's academic advisor. You may also speak to your Admissions Counselor about scheduling an appointment with a Lincoln College-Normal academic advisor. - Do I need to apply if I'm only taking
one class as a non-degree seeking student?
No. You aren't required to meet with Admissions, but you must schedule an appointment with an academic advisor before enrolling. To contact an academic advisor, please call (309) 452-0500. - When do I register for classes?
First time freshman will meet with their academic advisor during their PROP (orientation) session to select classes for their first semester. All other students will meet with an academic advisor during registration for the next semester. Period (PROP)?
PROP is our summer orientation event for incoming first-time freshmen. During this day, you will take your placement tests, register for classes, and meet with several departments including Residential Life, Student Life, Student Accounts, and Financial Aid. - How do I register for Math or English
placement testing?
All incoming first-time freshmen will take Math and English placement test s during one of our PROP sessions over the summer. All other students may contact Lincoln College Normal's Testing Center at (309) 268-4899. - Is tutoring available?
Yes. The Learning Resource center offers tutoring services in almost every subject from a degree-holding professional tutor. Services are free and no appointment is needed. Learn more about the Learning Resource Center - Do I have to live on campus?
All incoming freshman not commuting from home are required to live on campus. Lincoln College-Normal does not require sophomores and upperclassmen to live on campus, but many students choose to reside on campus throughout their entire academic program. New freshman and upperclassmen interested in living on campus will receive a Housing Application upon admission. For more information, you may speak to your Admissions Counselor. - What's the Off Campus Meal Plan?
The Off Campus Meal Plan is a dining option for students that allows students to use pre-paid funds to purchase meals at a variety of locations. Through Off Campus Dining Network, students can receive a swipe card that is accepted at restaurants around the Bloomington-Normal area, including some delivery options. - Do you have sports?
Yes. Lincoln College-Normal students have the opportunity to participate in intramural sports teams through the Department of Student Life and Illinois State University and a variety of community organizations in the Bloomington-Normal community.
