Admission Requirements for Associate Degrees
All degree-seeking students are required to apply and be accepted to Lincoln College - Normal prior to enrollment in courses. There is a $25 application fee for all first-time students.
New Students
Acceptance to Lincoln College - Normal is based on a student's high school
record ACT/SAT test scores, and a personal interview. Students with an ACT
composite score of 17 or better may be admitted without restriction. Students
may be accepted provisionally if their ACT scores are 16 or less. Non-traditional
students (21 years and over) are exempt from submitting ACT scores. Students
may enter at the beginning of any semester.

Transfer Students
Transfer students may enter at the beginning of any semester. Acceptance
to Lincoln College-Normal is based on grades recieved at all previous institutions.
Lincoln College-Normal requires official transcripts from all institutions
attended by the student.
International Students
Students whose primary language is not English must take the Test of English
as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination and have their scores sent to
Lincoln College - Normal. Any international student with a score of
500 or higher on the paper-based TOEFL, 173 on the computer based TOEFL
or 61 on the Internet, and who meets the other admission criteria may be
admitted. Students whose TOEFL scores are lower may be granted provisional

Non-degree-seeking Students
Students who wish to enroll in courses for the purposes of enrichment must meet with an academic advisor. If students wish to convert to a degree-seeking program, they must follow the applicable application procedure described above. No more than 30 non-degree credit hours may be applied toward a degree at Lincoln College - Normal.
