Writing Tips
Come in early. Don’t wait until the last minute to get started. Let the LRC Staff help you through the writing process.
- Bring a copy of the teacher’s instructions for the assignment.
- Bring in both a hard copy of your paper and a floppy disk with the saved document. This can save time as you make changes.
- Expect to make revisions. Don’t be discouraged—just as athletes and musicians need practice to be their best, writers can improve only by reworking drafts.
