LCN Student Leaders Take 2nd Place at Conference

Normal, Ill. – Lincoln College – Normal, On November 13-15, six LCN students and two advisors from Lincoln College-Normal’s Residence Hall Association Executive Board attended the Great Lakes Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (GLACURH) 2009 Regional Conference, held at Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Mich. The LCN delegates spent three days interacting with hundreds of other students from more than 45 colleges and universities in the Great Lakes region.

They attended various programs and presentations and are looking forward to exciting and enriched programs for LCN student body. Additionally, in their very first showing at this conference, LCN’s RHA walked away with 2nd place prize in the small school division for their conference banner, as well as second place for their 3D conference display.

Conference attendees included: Jessica Mallet, RHA President; Demetria Nicholson, RHA Vice-President; Caty Anderson, RHA Secretary/Communications Coordinator; Nikki Reed, RHA Treasurer; Chris Moore, RHA BACCHUS Chair; Adrianna Palmore, RHA Diversity Chair; and Advisors Joe Hawkins and Jennifer Zeinz.
