Faculty Member Natalia Rekhter Named to Journal of Health Service Administration Education’s Review Panel
Normal, Ill. – Lincoln College-Normal is pleased to announce Natalia Rekhter, a member of the faculty, has been selected to be part of the formal review panel for the Journal of Health Service Administration. Members of the review panel are selected based on their academic credentials, published research, and work experience. In this role, Ms. Rekhter will evaluate manuscripts that are submitted by other scholars and researchers for publication in the Journal.
The Journal of Health Administration Education is an international journal that chronicles advances in the education of health services managers and key policy issues for the field. It is published quarterly by the Association of University Programs in Health Administration and provides a forum for the presentation of health services research as it relates to the educational process, the communication of innovative approaches to formal education and management development in health services administration, and the review of new books from the perspective of educators.
A member of LCN’s faculty for three years, Natalia brings ten years of teaching and a wealth of practical experience as well as global perspective to the Health Services Administration program. Her industry experience include working for Trinity Health, a large corporation, and for small scale operations providing consulting services. A native of Russia, Ms. Rekhter’s focuses her research on on healthcare quality improvement through the advancement of healthcare management education and on prevention of HIV/AIDS epidemic in Russia. She has been a recipient of 11 local and federal grants to conduct her research and led groups of U.S. students to Russia to study its health care system.
