Lincoln College-Normal is considered to be a dry campus, meaning no alcohol and no empty alcohol containers are allowed in any campus facility or on the campus grounds. This policy is stated explicitly in the Lincoln College-Normal student handbook. View the student handbook - PDF 681 KB

Alcohol Policy. Including but not limited to: Students shall not consume, possess, possess by consumption, purchase, distribute, or sell any alcoholic beverages or maintain containers regardless of age.

Alcohol violations are normally adjudicated by the Director of Residential and Student Life or the Director’s designee. More serious or repeated violations of this policy may also be adjudicated by the Dean of Student Affairs.

Boosting Alcohol Consciousness Concerning the Health of University Students (BACCHUS), is a network of student organizations located at colleges and universities across the country which actively promote student and young adult based campus and community-wide leadership on healthy and safe lifestyle decisions concerning alcohol abuse, tobacco use, illegal drug use, unhealthy sexual practices and other high-risk behaviors.
