Placement, Registration, and Orientation Period (PROP)
Going to college shouldn't be overwhelming. Our PROP sessions are specifically designed to welcome you and teach you how to navigate college life.
Week of Welcome (WOW)
Friday, August 15 - Friday, August 27.
Join us for student events, meet new people, and learn how to make a successful transition to college.
During PROP you will:
- Take placement tests
- Register for classes
- Receive your LCN ID
- Meet other students and faculty
- Visit with representatives of campus services and programs
Please note: If you're a freshman entering the Fall semester you are required to attend this 1-day session.

Can parents/guardians attend PROP?
Yes. We encourage you to attend with your student. Not only will you receive additional information about resources at LCN, but you'll also learn some of the adjustments facing your college student. Review the PROP student and parent/guardian schedules.
