Maintenance Requests

Maintenance requests are available at the Residential Life Office, the Security Office or the Front Desk Reception Area in the Main Academic Building..
Why do I need to complete a maintenance request?
- It provides you with a written receipt that you have submitted work to be completed.
- It allows the maintenance staff to prioritize incoming requests.
- Requests can be submitted to the Student Accounts Office if any charges need to be filed.
Emergency Information
Contact Residential Life at (309) 826-0500 if any of the following occur:
- Water leaks or overflowing toilet - shut off the valve knob behind the toilet or sink to the left
- Broken locks or windows
- Smoke detector alarms - check for signs of fire. If there is a fire, leave the building immediately and pull the nearestfire alarm pull station. The smoke detectors must be functioning at all times. If you feel the detector is sounding for no reason, do not take it down, but try changing the battery.
