What drew her to LCN: Winning the 2000 Bloomington-Normal Soroptimist Club Women’s Opportunity Award and the one-on-one help and attention she had received when first attending Lincoln in Normal over 10 years ago when she obtained her associate’s degree.
Favorite classes: Art with Melanie Scott-Dockery and Professional Writing with Mary Adams. Learn more about Mary Adams.
Favorite pastimes: Reading, cooking, attending church and volunteering at the MECA, a private academy for students in preschool through eighth grade.
Family: Three children – Stephan,23; Stephanie, 20; Chelsie, 17.
Future goal: Everything from a Master’s degree in divinity or counseling to opening a facility for women coming out of prison to starting a restaurant.
