Student Spotlight - Colleen Romine 
Program: Massage Therapy, Midwest College of Cosmetology
A favorite class: Massage Therapy with Ms. Sheri Wright “Sheri is truly amazing,” Colleen notes. “I just hope that one day I can be as enthusiastic as she is about massage.”
What drew her to Midwest College of Cosmetology: After talking online via her voice-equipped computer to some blind massage therapists, Colleen, who became blind at the age of 31, decided to enroll in Midwest College of Cosmetology’s Massage Therapy Program.
Family: Husband Craig, daughter Marisa, a high school freshman, and her seeing eye companion, Wilson, a black Labrador Retriever
Future Goal: Learning the art and science of massage therapy is primary leading, Colleen hopes, to employment at a local spa and, possibly, to opening her own massage therapy business one day.
