Have problems connecting your computer to the Internet?
Call the help desk at 268-4357. An associate will set up a time that is convenient for you to help you with your issue.
What the Help Desk will NOT help you with:
Due to liability concerns the Help Desk is mainly responsible for the Internet connection that the college provides. If there is an issue other than the connection to the Internet, it will be determined by the associate. Some issues may include problems with your operating system, applications that go awry, hardware issues, and others.
Once a thorough diagnosis of the problem is conducted, the information will be relayed to the student as to the next course of action. This isn't because we don't want to help the student - we make every effort to help the student resolve the issue. There are certain issues that can come up where it would be in the best interest of the College for the student to get help from outside sources.
In the event that an issue falls into the category other than problems with your Internet connection, the Help Desk associate will provide further information on how to resolve the issue.
