Student Responsibilities

It is each student’s responsibility to:

• Meet the essential qualifications and institutional standards
• Disclose the disability in a timely manner to ODS
• Provide appropriate documentation of the disability
• Meet with ODS staff to discuss and determine accommodations
• Inform ODS if any changes to accommodations or services are needed
• Work with faculty and staff to implement necessary accommodations
• Request accommodations each semester

In addition, any grievance regarding disability services, must be submitted in writing to the Director of the Office for Disability Services within 60 days of the occurrence. The Director will then refer the grievance to the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
