The Office for Disability Services
Students’ Responsibilities
If you are a student and wish to receive disability services you will need to initiate
contact with the Director
of the Office for Disability Services at the start of each semester. Self-advocacy is a large
component of success in college. Lincoln College students with disabilities should self-advocate to promote their success. All contacts
with the Director will remain confidential.
Once contact has been initiated with the Director, you will meet with the Director
to outline the appropriate services.
Documentation that outlines the requested services will be created
for you to distribute to the appropriate faculty members
and/or staff.
If a you have a grievance regarding disability
services, you will need to submit the grievance in writing within 60 days to the Director. If the Director cannot resolve the grievance, the Director will refer the grievance to the Provost.
