Preadmission Consultation
Prospective students may obtain a preadmission consultation with the Director. During this consultation, students will learn disability services procedures. All information about this consultation will remain confidential.

Registration Assistance
Students may request assistance with registration and scheduling of courses. Students wishing this service should meet with the Director to discuss appropriate coursework.

Alternative Testing
Appropriate testing adjustments will be determined during the conference
between the student and the Director. As soon as possible, students
receiving testing adjustments will need to meet with the appropriate faculty
to request these adjustments as well as to distribute the appropriate documentation.

Tape Recorders in Class
The use of tape recorders in class is a service provided. Students wishing this service should meet with the Director to obtain the appropriate documentation. Tape recorders are available
for check-out as soon as possible, students receiving this service will need to meet with the appropriate faculty to request these adjustments as well as distribute the appropriate documentation.

Prescribed Calculators
The use of prescribed calculators in specific math classes is a service provided. Students wishing this service should meet with the Director to obtain the appropriate documentation. The calculators are available for check-out in the Office for Disability Services. As soon as possible, students receiving this service will need to meet with the appropriate faculty to request these adjustments as well as distribute the appropriate documentation.

Books on Tape
Students may request assistance to obtain textbooks on tape. Students wishing to request this service will need to obtain a conference with the Director several weeks before the start of classes.

Readers
Students may request the assistance of readers. Students wishing to request this service may obtain a conference with the Director to receive the appropriate documentation to be distributed to the Tutoring Center.

Extended Program Length
Students may extend their degree program length. They may extend to a maximum of 150% of the program’s length to complete the degree.

Tutoring Services
Students wishing to request tutoring services may do so individually, or during a conference with the Director. The Director will provide the necessary documentation if the student wants assistance in securing tutoring.

Private Counseling
Students wishing to request private counseling may do so during a conference
with the Director. The Director may then refer students to the
Director of Counseling and/or the Director of Student Development.

Private Medical Consultation
Students wishing to request a private medical consultation may do so during
a conference with the Director. The Director may then refer
students to the campus nurse.

Access to Facilities
The Lincoln College campus is in compliance with access to its facilities.
If a student feels access to all facilities is not appropriate, the student
is encouraged to contact the Director to discuss this access.

Co-curricular Activities Access
All students with disabilities at Lincoln College are encouraged to participate
in the many co- curricular activities available. If a student with disabilities
would like assistance with accessing these activities, the student may meet
with the Director for assistance.

Transcription
Students wishing to request transcription services may do so during a conference with the Director to discuss the appropriate procedures.

Attendance
Students with documented disabilities that are episodic and chronic in nature may discuss an attendance accommodation with the Director. The Director will then provide the student with the appropriate documentation and request that the student schedule a meeting with the faculty member. The faculty member may allow this attendance accommodation if the accommodation does not interfere with the process or the content of the course.
Housing
Students with housing accommodation requests may meet with the Director to receive assistance in securing the appropriate accommodations.
Service Animals
Students with service animals may wish to meet with the Director to obtain information about the service animal policies.
