Lincoln, IL - March 27, 2008 - The Iota Chi Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Fraternity at Lincoln College will induct 11 new members at its initiation ceremonies on Monday, March 31, 2008. Phi Theta Kappa is a junior college academic honor society.

The criteria to be initiated to Phi Theta Kappa are sophomore status and having a high cumulative grade point average. PTK Faculty Advisors, John Welter and Chris Gray will welcome new members and their families to the annual induction ceremony.
Lincoln College was founded in 1865 as Lincoln University, the only institution of higher education named for Abraham Lincoln during his lifetime. It is a selective, two-year, private, liberal arts college located in Lincoln, Illinois. Lincoln College is designed to prepare a student for university study through a structured, supportive approach to learning.
