Lincoln, IL - April 22, 2009 - Darius Adams of the Lincoln College Men’s Basketball Team was selected to participate in the 2009 NJCAA All-Star game on April 25 held at Odessa College in Odessa, TX. Adams, a graduate from MacArthur High School in Decatur, IL was selected to the 1st Team NJCAA Division II All-American Team this April after helping the Lynx to a 3rd place finish in the NJCAA National Tournament. He was also selected to the NJCAA National All-Tournament team for his performance at the National Tournament. He averaged 18 points, 4 assists and 5 rebounds per game and was selected to 1st Team All-Conference Team and was named Player of the Year for Region 24. He was part of the team that captured the Mid-West Athletic Conference title and part of a sophomore class that won back to back conference titles.
