Lincoln, IL – June 12, 2009 – The Lincoln College Women’s Soccer program is pleased to announce the signing of Rebecca Glover of Lincoln. She will play for the Lynx in the upcoming season. Rebecca is a 2009 graduate of Lincoln High School and is the daughter of Clay and Denise Glover.
Rebecca was a 3 year varsity player for the Railers where she dominated the position of goalkeeper. She holds the record for career shutouts and shutouts in a season.
Glover will be making the transition from Railer coach Tim Stuckey to Lincoln College head Women’s Soccer coach Amber Angermeier. Angermeier commented “I am very excited about the addition of Rebecca Glover to the program. Rebecca is a talented goalkeeper and I look forward to her having a very successful career at Lincoln College.”

It is a selective, two-year, private, liberal arts college located in Lincoln, Illinois.
