Chris Ware, 6’6’’ Sophomore Center for the Lincoln Lynx has been invited to the Jerry Mullin’s Top 120 Camp in Tulsa, OK. The camp runs from July 10-July 11. He will have the opportunity to show case his skills in front of over 300 college coaches and compete against the top Jr. College players in the Nation. Chris was a third team All-Conference selection for the Lynx last year. Chris is the only returning starting on a team that went 27-10 and finished 3rd in the NJCAA National Tournament.
“It’s a great honor for Chris to be selected to compete in this prestigious camp in front of all the college coaches. It’s a great reflection of the season we had last year and I’m looking forward to this camp being a spring board for Chris to keep working hard. He missed the first 10 games of the year with knee surgery and came back and re-injured his knee and played hurt the rest of the season. He gained a lot of weight during this time and has lost over fifteen pounds and has his knee strong now. We are expecting Chris to keep working hard to lose a few more pounds and be a big presence for us next season.” Kirk Whiteman – Head Men’s Basketball Coach
