Tom Zurkammer to throw first pitch at Peoria Chiefs game on Aug. 14

Lincoln, Ill. – The Lincoln College Office of Alumni Relations is hosting a Lincoln College Day at O’Brien Field in Peoria, Illinois, on Friday, Aug. 14, 2009.  The game will match the Peoria Chiefs against the Burlington Bees. The event is open to all Lincoln College alumni, friends and members of the community, but ticket quantities are limited.

The cost for the game is $25 per person and includes a private, open air party area overlooking third base, a buffet dinner, soda, water and beer, a goodie bag, door prizes and a spectacular fireworks show after the game.  Lincoln College alumnus, former administrator and coach, and everyone’s local friend Tom Zurkammer will be throwing out the first pitch. Lincoln College music instructor Diane Dietz and Alumni Relations and Special Events Coordinator Kerri Taylor will sing the National Anthem. This will be a fun event for families and fans of all ages. Children under 3 are free.
