Lincoln, Ill. –Every year, the Lincoln College Office of Alumni Relations invites alumni, friends and the community to join in the fun by purchasing a ticket to the annual “Take Me Out to the Ballgame with Lincoln College” Peoria Chiefs baseball game. This year, the fun gets started at 6:30pm on Saturday, July 17 when the Peoria Chiefs take on the Bowling Green (KY) Hot Rods at O’Brien Field in Peoria.

Attendees will enjoy the game from the comfort of a luxury suite overlooking third base. After the game, you have a prime spot to watch the spectacular fireworks show. Tickets are just $30 and include a game ticket, as well as access to the private party area where guests will receive a gift bag filled with baseball themed goodies, entry for a special raffle of prizes, and an all-you-can-eat buffet of slow-smoked pulled pork, bratwurst, southern style baked beans, pasta salad, coleslaw, potato chips, popcorn, beer, soda, and water. This year’s special guests are Bridgett (Ryan) Thomas ’01, Director of Student Life and Tony Thomas ’88, Head Coach of LC’s Men’s baseball team, who will serve as  LC’s All Stars of the event.  Come join in the fun and festivities with the LC All Stars, and help cheer on Coach Thomas as he throws out the first pitch, and the singing of the National Anthem by a mystery  LC “celebrity.” It’s an affordable night of summer fun you won’t want to miss!
