Campus Health Watch!

Important Health Record Deadlines & Late Fee Information

All required health forms MUST be completed and on file with Health Services.

1/24/12 a $15 late fee will be added to your account if records are not complete by January 23rd.

2/7/12 a *$10 late fee will be added to your account for all records *(additional) not completed by February 6th.

**If records are not complete by mid-term the student could be dismissed from school.**

The campus Health Service office is located in the Student Service building. Health Service strives to maintain and improve the total health of each student.  Healthy attitude and behavior are encouraged so each student will be able to take charge of their own health, feel better and be more productive.

All on-campus health services are offered free of charge to students.  Medical records are the property of the campus health service office and are kept strictly confidential.

Some services available at the Health Service office include:

  • assessment of illness or injury
  • emergency care of illness or injury
  • some non-prescription medications
  • health care provider referrals
  • blood pressure monitoring
  • weight checks and diet consultation
  • immunization information and referrals
  • listening post
  • health education materials
  • wellness workshops
  • verification of student illness to instructors (ONLY if the student contacts the nurse in person or by phone at the time of the illness can a verification be given.
  • Allergy shots are NOT available on campus.  Arrangements should be made in advance with the student’s insurance company and a  physician’s office for the shots to be administered there.
