The campus Health Service, located on the first floor of the
Student Services building, strives to maintain and improve the
total health of each individual at
Lincoln
College.
While providing
a first aid center, healthy attitudes and behaviors are encouraged
so students will be able to take charge of their own health,
feel better, produce more and live longer.
The Health Service office is staffed by Judy
Horn, BSN, RN, BC.

Allergy Shots
Allergy shots are not given on campus. Arrangements should
be made in advance with the student's insurance company and a physician's
office for the shots to be administered there. Transportation can
usually be arranged by contacting the Lincoln College Student
Center.
Student Insurance
All full-time students are covered by an accident
policy, which also covers a minimal amount for illness when hospitalization
is necessary. It does not cover visits to the physician's office
or visits to the emergency room for reasons other than accidents
which occurred on campus or related to campus activities. This
policy is a secondary insurance coverage to the student's primary
insurance carrier.
Note: All students should complete and sign a “Parent/Guardian/Student Information form” (PDF 130 KB) and submit it to the Lincoln College Business Office. This form is required in order for an insurance claim to be filed for any injury.
Note: Students must provide an enlarged copy of the front and back of their health insurance cards to the Lincoln College Health Service. These copies are kept on file. Please provide an updated copy of your card to the Health Service if your insurance changes.
Also,
please determine which physician or physicians in Lincoln,
IL are covered by your insurance provider. Contact your provider

is not an "urgent care (walk-in
clinic) facility," which might be covered as an office visit
by many insurance companies.
